As the first of Suzuki's new generation of four-stroke engines, they are flagship models in terms of progress and performance. Just think of the electronically controlled sequential multi-point fuel injection system, the powerful gear reduction ratio of 2.59:1, and the maintenance-free, self-adjusting timing chain, which Suzuki first used in the DF40/DF50 back in 1999. Furthermore, these outboard motors feature the proven offset drive shaft technology, which, in combination with the newly developed engine block, makes the DF90A a powerful four-stroke outboard motor.
