The DF6A's performance is guaranteed by a single-cylinder OHV engine with a displacement of 138 cc, the largest displacement in this performance class. The large displacement and low weight ensure good acceleration values across the entire speed range.
The DF6A is equipped with a special fuel filling system that ensures easy engine starting after storage. This sophisticated system eliminates the need to pre-pump fuel from the tank into the carburetor.
In addition to other highlights such as improved running smoothness, high fuel efficiency, and good responsiveness, the tilt system is extremely easy to operate. With just a few simple steps and minimal effort, it is possible to lower the outboard motor from the tilted position back into the water.
The positioning of the tiller allows the driver to sit far forward, improving weight distribution in the boat.
Other features include 180-degree steering, which offers good maneuverability even in shallow water. The built-in 1.0 L fuel tank ensures a long range.
